Color Picker is a color code retrieval program for Mac OS X computers. The program is a must-have utility for web designers and graphic designers. When you move your mouse cursor over any area in your workspace, it gives you that area’s color code.

How Do You Use Color Picker?

Color Picker, a color code finder for Mac OS X, is a small and simple-to-use program.
1- First, when you open the program, click the magnifying glass icon on the screen that appears.
2- Then, drag your mouse cursor to the area you want to get the color code from, and click.
3- Your color code will appear to the left of the magnifying glass icon, shown as a 6-digit numeric value after the #.
4- You can copy these values from there and paste them wherever you’d like using copy-paste (Command+C and Command+V on Mac OS X).

Does Color Picker Have a Color Memory?

Yes, it does. Color Picker can save the color codes you find into the program’s memory and use them again later. Even though we work with many different colors, we can later pull this color from the program’s memory and use it.
