Cloning transfers an exact copy of a disk directly to another disk, which becomes immediately usable. Imaging, on the other hand, stores the entire disk as a single file, which can be restored to another disk whenever needed.
Incremental backup only saves the data that changed since the last backup, which greatly reduces both the backup time and the storage space it uses. A full backup, on the other hand, copies all the data again every time, making it both slower and more space-consuming.
